churches gatheringM2M (Ministry to Ministries) blog is focused on leadership ministries, revival, and sharing updates from a few of the ministries we assist. We’re happy to share a message from Laura Martin, at Time to Revive.

The sun is shining after days of rain here in Dallas.  Praise the LORD!  It is a day to rejoice and give thanks! Thank you for praying for Time to Revive and for revival in this country; the Lord is spreading the Spark of Revival. Praise the LORD!

PSALM 100:1-3 says:

“Shout with joy to the LORD, all the earth!
Worship the Lord with gladness.
Come before the Lord with singing and joy.
ACKNOWLEDGE that the LORD is GOD!
He made us, and we are his.
We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving;
Go into his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and praise his name!”

Let’s praise the name of the LORD for how He is moving. Here’s a full update on the past week:

PRAISE the LORD: Last week with reviveINDIANA:KOKOMO was amazing. The day after we left, over 50 pastors gathered to talk “next steps” for the Church of Kokomo. We give thanks for all the people involved. Crossroads Community Church, who hosted our evening gatherings, posted this on their Facebook page:

“Thank you Jesus. Thank you for the way you are moving in our community. Thank you for bringing so many churches together for Revive Indiana. Thank you for the dozens of people who have made decisions to follow you. Thank you for the hundreds of people who are sharing your Good News. Thank you for what is yet to come!”

PRAISE the LORD:  While in Kokomo, the Lord opened the door for teams to share the Gospel in theChrysler Plant! Last week, this was posted to Facebook:

Urgent Prayer Request & Update from Kyle Martin (reviveINDIANA):
We have wonderful news!! God has opened a door for reviveINDIANA to be at the local Chrysler Castings Plant. Starting at 9:30 am (Friday morning) we will be praying and sharing the Gospel with any employee that comes into the break room during their 3 breaks. (There is a total of 1,000 employees). We will be there for a total of 18 breaks (3shifts) – 24 hours. The local Chrysler employees are calling this a miracle!

On 4/30, the Chaplains of Chrysler met to discuss organizing more reviveINDIANA teams to go share the Gospel in 4 additional Chrysler Plants.

PRAISE THE LORD:  On Saturday (4/25), Northern Indiana Pastors went to St. Louis to meet with a group of pastors who are praying for revival there.

PRAISE THE LORD:  Kyle and some of the TTR team went to Tupelo on Sunday and Monday. We are praising the Lord for the core team that is praying for revival in Tupelo, MS.  TTR will be heading there once a month to host a Night of Praise to prepare forreviveTUPELO. Dates will be determined soon.

PRAISE THE LORD:  While in Tupelo, Kyle and Phil Byars (Northern Indiana pastor) interviewed on 3 different programs on American Family Radio. They testified the Lord’s work in Indiana.  These radio programs play across this country! Praise the LORD for opening up opportunities and spreading the Sparks of Revival.

PRAISE the LORD:  On Tuesday (4/28), Kyle also interviewed on Moody Radio (via phone) to testify about reviveINDIANA. He received and answered questions from people around the country.

PRAISE the LORD:  The Lord confirmed Bloomington, IN as the NEXT city for reviveINDIANA to head to.  People from Elkhart County, and Kokomo will NOW head to Bloomington, the 3rd RAY in reviveINDIANA.  TTR will be there Monday, May 4 – Saturday, May 9, 2014.  PRAY FOR LOGISTICS and to WALK BY FAITH; the LORD WILL GO BEFORE US.

PRAISE THE LORD:  Wednesday, (4/29) over 100 people gathered at Maple City Chapel in Goshen for the weekly reviveINDIANA prayer time.

PRAISE the LORD:  4/30 Pastor Phil Byars (Northern Indiana pastor) met with over 40 ministry leaders in Sarasota, FL to discuss the Spark of Revival coming to the Sunshine State.

PRAISE the LORD:  4/30 at noon, 3-4 Northern Indiana pastors met with some Northwest Indiana pastors in the Chesterton area to discuss the Spark of Revival coming to this region of the state.

PRAISE the LORD:  Praise God for the TTR staff. They are all really grooving in their roles. With that being said, please pray for continued strength and grace for each of them; for our families, our marriages, and our walks with the Lord.  Pray for the shield of faith to extinguish fiery arrows.  Pray for wisdom.  Pray for the details with reviveKIDS growth, our missionary process, intern process, website design, church and volunteer logistics, videography and media process, and prayer team growth. There are so many pieces working together to give GLORY to the LORD!

PRAISE THE LORD: This Thursday (5/7), Kyle will be on Moody Radio in Chicago for the NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER.  Kyle will be on a two-hour prayer summit with other ministry leaders from around the country.  Pray for the Lord to work through these men for His glory, for His kingdom and for His will to be done.  No better time than NOW to pray for the HOPE of Jesus to spread across this country!

This is posted on the ONE CRY website:

“This two hour long concert of prayer broadcast will act as a rallying point at the end of the National Day of Prayer. It will consist of teaching from various Christian leaders, music performed “live”, and prayers offered from our audience prayer groups. These elements will encourage those in the prayer movement and offer an invitation to take the next steps toward awakening and spiritual revival.”

PRAISE THE LORD:  As I list all this activity –how the sparks of revival are spreading –I pray you see it as answered prayers! Amidst all the activity, lives are being changed. Kyle and I hear about marriages being restored, addictions being set free, burdens being laid down, surrender, and walking in faith. Relationships are healing, bitterness released, and healings happening. The Lord is at work. Praise the LORD!  Pray that Jesus is lifted up and His will be done…on Earth as it is in Heaven.

As I close today, I want to give you a little glimpse into a conversation Kyle and I were just having. We were discussing a decision I, we, have to make, and Kyle said, “Laura, I think the issue is pride. I think you have pride and that’s keeping you from making this decision.”  Gulp. Thank you, husband, for shooting straight with me, and welcome home!  Yes. Pride and fear.  Two big things that often hold me, and maybe, YOU, back from walking in faith.  I don’t want to miss out on God being God. So, today my prayer for you and for me is that we recognize our pride, recognize our fear, and do the next thing in faith.  Let’s walk in humility.  The Bible says so much about this:

“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” –  James 4:10

“Humility is the fear of the Lord.” – Proverbs 22:4

“Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.” –  Psalm 25:9

Blessed are the poor in Spirit. Let’s keep Jesus the main thing IN ALL OF THIS!  Thanks for covering this TTR family with prayer!

With Love,

Laura Martin
