OneCry releases video about Second Great Awakening
The OneCry media team is releasing this week a new video that raises hope for revival and spiritual awakening in our day. It profiles the heartbeat for revival in the life of Dr. Timothy Dwight, one of the heroes of the Second Great Awakening.
Drawing on archived footage from Life Action Ministries’ multi-media production Bring Back the Glory, we witness Dr. Dwight recounting how wonderfully God broke through the dark spiritual clouds that enshrouded America in the early 1800s.
Pray that Christians across the country will be obedient in keeping the Great Commandments-that we will truly love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and that we will love our neighbors as we love ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39).
Please pray that the church in America will have wisdom in knowing how to keep God’s commands while walking in submission to the authorities He has placed over us (Acts 5:29; Hebrews 13:17).
