M2M (Ministry to Ministries) and Time To Revive thank you for your prayers for reviveSEATTLE THIS WEEK. If you are interested, you can go to reviveseattle.org nightly at 9:15 CST and watch the livefeed of the evening worship service, or you can find the revive seattle facebook page and get lots of photo updates.
For tonight’s specifics – I wanted to copy a few posts from Facebook from TTR Team Member David Maddox (thank you David!)
TODAY’S PRAYER request is this:
“The team here in Seattle is under significant Spiritual attack. Some are ill while others are in the hospital. A number of family members back home are suffering physically – a car accident – on and on. Our worship leaders have lost their voices. The darkness has been stirred up because of a people sharing the Gospel in places which have been closed – territories and people are being reclaimed. I unashamedly ask for your prayers of protection for the team here and all of their loved ones.
God has made it clear that we are to walk in unquestioned faith – and we shall continue.
Pray also for boldness – that we be faithful.”
John 10:10 – The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; Jesus has come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
David Maddox also wrote this regarding Day 2(Tuesday) in Seattle – such a big PRAISE!:
“Day 2 ended with the clear confirmation that God is moving in Seattle not only through those who participate to touch a hurting city, but in those who participate to change them forever. The purpose of Time to Revive is to strengthen the Church and in Seattle the theme is specifically Jesus’ words, “Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain …” Last night Day 2 ended with a Pastor of 35 ye…ars sharing how reviveSeattle had changed him by opening his eyes to something missing from his ministry all these years. It was a public confession and change which will affect his church and this city in the years to come.Once again many went out – people were confronted, touched and loved, some accepted and were saved – some rejected and continue in their sin, but they have heard the truth – and yes some were actually healed in answer to prayer. God is still the same God and when He wishes He can use anyone to to bring about healing. That is not a focus, but as the Apostles prayed in Acts 4:29-31 it should never be ignored or unexpected.”
THURSDAY will be DAY 4: Capitol Hill and the host church is Capitol Hill Presbyterian Church
Pray for boldness and courage as they proclaim the Truth of the Gospel and love on this hill in the city.
Joshua 1:9: “Have I not commanded you, Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
I Thes 5:1-18 “Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will.”
love to you and much thanks for praying on our behalf,
PS: Dallas folks….Cyrus is gathering people each morning at 7am through Monday, April 15 to pray from 7am to 8am.
